Pallavi Samant Desai (Born 5 Nov 1977, Thane) is a first generation social entrepreneur. Having pursued her passion for creativity by getting a 5-year Diploma in Applied Art from LS Raheja School of Art in 1998-99, Pallavi has spent almost 2 decades in the creative & edutainment industries. She started Penkraft - a woman-pioneered, women-oriented brand that conducts courses in handwriting improvement, calligraphy, abacus and various art and craft forms at pan-India locations. Having set up Penkraft with the objective to inspire, educate, empower & uplift women through her endeavors, Pallavi has trained teachers in various disciplines, who now run their own centers in 60+ cities & towns of India, and in a few countries abroad too!

Penkraft was founded in 2015, by Pallavi Samant Desai in Thane. It is a woman pioneered, women oriented brand that enables home-makers set up their own home-based classes by training them in various domains, guiding them for the business and providing them marketing & design support. It conducts courses and workshops for Handwriting Improvement, Calligraphy, GAJSMA Certified Abacus Mathematics and various art forms like Madhubani, Mandala, Warli, Gond, Chinese One Stroke Painting, Nail Art, Mural Art and others.

In India, Penkraft has its head office at Thane and Penkraft Centers, Penkraft Master Trainers and Penkraft Certified Teachers at different locations in Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, Solapur, Malegaon, Bharuch, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Indore, Kanpur, Hathras, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayapura, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Kochi and Puducherry. Abroad, they have their teachers in Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai & Muscat.
