The role is responsible for coding and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to given specifications.
Responsiblities and Duties
Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
Website and software application development and maintenance.
Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
Conferring with the operations / client team to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
Performing website updates.
Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through research.
Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery.
Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting problems.
Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages, especially PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, API and Payment Gateway Integration.
